The John Berne School is a Catholic special school under the care of the Marist Brothers

Overcoming

Berne caters for boys and girls in Years 7–10 who are at risk of not completing their education because they are behaviour disordered, school refusers, or are not coping in mainstream school

Facing Fears

It provides educational, personal, social, and family services with the goal that these children will obtain a School Certificate and make a successful transition into the next phase of their lives

Getting to the Top

Ultimately it aims to assist them to become contributing members of society and happy, mature adults
